SUSTAINABILITY, THE ENVIRONMENT AND OUR RESPONSIBILITY

Seamless Aluminium Group have been passionate about the use and recycling of aluminium since the group was first established and is committed to designing and manufacturing sustainable, strong, high performance rainwater systems from recyclable material. Our mission is to create products with a low carbon footprint while specifically using material that can be recycled an unlimited amount of times.

Nature and what it provides us forms the foundation of everything we do. This is one of the reasons why we cannot be indifferent to how our production and our products affect the environment.

Aluminium is arguably the most sustainable building material in the world and is also highly recyclable. The recycling process creates high quality aluminium which loses none of the physical properties of primary aluminium and also uses just 5% of the energy it takes to create primary aluminium. This is why aluminium in generally regarded as the worlds most sustainable building material.

In today’s world we have to be more conscious of the environmental impact of our decisions and actions. Aluminium, almost uniquely, is fully, infinitely and economically recyclable and does not contribute to the global waste crisis and poses no environmental hazards.

Aluminium v PVC

Our systems are lightweight, long-lasting and strong and have a life expectancy of 50 years with zero to no maintenance.

Aluminium naturally generates a protective oxide coating which means it is corrosion resistant, but by adding a polyester powder coating we can provide an attractive, durable and maintenance free finish.

Aluminium is not susceptible to insect or pest damage and is unaffected by fungi, moss, mould, lichens or bacteria.

Under normal atmospheric conditions the factory applied polyester powder coating will retain a good appearance for a minimum of 15 years and will not flake, split, peel or crack as PVC does.

Aluminium is completely unaffected by sunlight and will retain full functionality for the design life of the building. It does not become brittle and prone to splitting in cold conditions.

On a weight to strength ratio aluminium is 23 times stronger than PVC and is resistant to damage by impact, breakage, wind and snow loading or weight of ladders
